“Believing” in science isn’t the same as understanding science
True science will never ask for your faith.
I wish you could see the alarmed look on my face when I hear, “I believe in science!”. I kind of get why people feel proud to say this. The world was told to “trust the science” — perhaps some people obediently accepted this without considering what that statement really meant.
